Christine Guenther Memorial Weekend

It has been 30 years since the murder of Christine Guenther has gone unsolved. A memorial weekend is planned for Oct. 29-31. The schedule is as follows:

Oct. 29; 8:30 a.m.: Mass at St. Benedict the Abbot Catholic Church. There will be a reception in the church hall following Mass. Memorial flowers are permitted.

Oct. 30; 11:30 a.m.: Gathering at Pizzaz Italian Restaurant on Route 19 to travel as a group to the cemetery to pay respects. Those interested will be provided with flyers to pass out to local businesses.

Oct. 31; 12:30-1:30 p.m.: Gathering under the billboard at Route 19 and Valley Brook Road. "Friends of Christine Guenther" have purchased a billboard space asking for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for her murder.
